MillerWhite continues
tradition of award-winning holiday cards
March 26, 2007
MillerWhite, LLC’s 2006 holiday card
was recently chosen for a Brass Ring/Addy Award from the
Advertising Club of Indianapolis, making the eighth year
out of the last 12 that the integrated marketing firm’s
holiday greeting has garnered a creative award.
“What has kind of become a tradition
with MillerWhite started in 1994 when we won an Addy for
our ‘Staff Decorates the Tree’ card,” said
Brian Miller, a partner in the firm.
Traditional paper cards in 1995 (“Click
Greeting”), 1996 (“Staff Pulling the Sleigh”)
and 1998 (“X-Mas-in-a-Tube”) also received Addys,
with the popular 1998 tube mailer winning a Communicator
Crystal Award of Excellence and a Summit Creative Award as
well. The firm’s 1997 poster card was recognized by
the Indianapolis Club of Printing House Craftsmen.
By 2001, MillerWhite had converted its holiday
greeting to go out electronically, and that year’s
card, “Gingerbread Recipe,” was recognized with
an Addy. The 2004 online card, “Where Did I Park My
Car?” won a MarCom Creative Award and a Creativity
35 Award of Distinction.
Miller said, “Often the entire staff
has a hand in creating our holiday cards, but the bulk of
the work usually goes to the newest creative designer. We
always tell that person about the string of awards for our
past cards as an extra incentive.”
MillerWhite has been creating its own holiday
greetings for clients, vendors and friends since 1980. All
the cards are displayed on the firm’s web site at: http://www.millerwhite.com/companyhistory.html,
where they are woven into the history of the firm.
MillerWhite provides integrated marketing/research,
public relations, advertising and interactive media services
to its clients from offices in Indianapolis and Terre Haute.
